Coffee roasters find new and inventive ways to create delicious blends of coffees to enjoy. As important as coffee roasting is in our world, it’s not something that’s taught at traditional universities. The best way to learn the art of coffee roasting is to take a course. From there, you can experiment with your own equipment to discover your own unique coffee roasting style.
Unlike our Barista Camp and Bean Journey class , we do not hold our Balinese coffee roasting classes onsite at our family farm. Instead, we have a facility in Ubud where our roasting class is held. This is where our equipment is located, and our facility in Ubud allows us to give our students in-depth hands-on experience learning about how to roast coffee.
We never compromise the quality of the equipment that we use for all parts of the coffee process, from processing to presenting. All of the machines you will use during your class are commonly used outside of Indonesia. That means you can take the basic knowledge that you gain from our coffee roasting course to get a job in the coffee industry anywhere in the world.
Because the coffee roasting class does not include information about the bean journey or about how to grow or farm coffee, you will not take a tour of our plantation.
