Working as a barista is a dream for a lot of people. Get a head start on your training with our all-inclusive 3-day barista camp. You’ll learn everything there is to know about coffee, from growing the coffee beans to handing a customer that perfectly foamed latte.
What’s included
Your 3-day Bali Beans Coffee barista camp experience is all-inclusive. Your cost includes transportation, food, drinks, accommodation, and training from certified organic coffee farmers. It all takes place right here on our beautiful family farm located in the highlands of Kintamani in Bali.
What you’ll learn
During this intensive camp, you’ll learn everything there is to know about coffee. We’ll train you using equipment that’s also used in countries outside of Indonesia. By the end, you’ll be an expert barista who is qualified to work at any coffee shop in the world!
Specifically, you’ll learn about the following:
● Growing coffee: You’ll get a hands-on tutorial on how to grow coffee sustainably.
● Farming coffee: You’ll learn how to maintain and nurture the coffee tree so it can produce high-quality coffee beans.
● Processing coffee: You’ll learn about the different ways we process coffee here at Bali Beans, including black honey, natural, and fully washed processes.
● Roasting coffee: Learn the essential coffee roasting skills using Giesen, which is one of the top coffee roasters in the world.
● Cupping: You’ll learn how to evaluate, sample, and blend coffee.
● Delivery and presentation: Your barista training will culminate with lessons on how to deliver a perfectly presented cup of coffee or espresso beverage, with a focus on serving from espresso to manual brewing.
Similar to our barista training camp, this 3-day program is geared toward people who are already involved in coffee or who want to take their coffee skills to the next level. This 3-day course focuses more on the brewing technique instead of the full coffee journey.
At the end of our barista training course, you’ll receive a certificate and recommendation letter that you can take with you when you apply for barista jobs anywhere in the world!
