Types of Balinese Coffee

Bali Coffee Beans

Here at Bali Coffee Tours, we believe we make the best coffee in the world. Here’s some more information on the different types of coffee we roast. You can try our coffee when you take a Bali coffee tour or by ordering from select retailers.

Cascara coffee

Balinese Cascara is a unique, organically-farmed coffee product made from high-quality red cherry skin that brings you an unforgettable taste and exceptional quality. We focus on the beans during growth and cultivation. During the fermentation and drying process, we give all of our attention to the skin.

Because of the intensive labor and exceptional care that goes into cultivating it, Cascara is only available in limited qualities. Production does not extend beyond 3 – 5kg per year..

This organic coffee is our best-selling product and comes to you directly from our own coffee bean plantation. Try it today!

Kintamani coffee

Our organically farmed Kintamani coffee is specific to our location. Kintamani coffee comes from this area in the northern highlands of Bali. Our region has the perfect climate for growing coffee. The rich volcanic soil is what makes Kintamani coffee stand out. This Balinese coffee is 100 percent Arabica coffee that is grown, nurtured, and farmed here on our coffee plantation.

While there are other Balinese coffee plantations that grow Kintamani coffee, less than one percent of coffee farmers grow their beans organically. Buying from Bali Coffee Company is your chance to help transition coffee farms to organic growing since we only use sustainable practices to cultivate our 100 percent organic coffee.

Plaga Coffee

This coffee is grown by 22 women farmers who have joined forces together to grow coffee in a 100 percent natural way here on our Balinese coffee farm. They never use any fertilizer, chemicals, or pesticides that could harm their plantation. By working together, these 22 women farmers are now selling their coffee through Direct Trade, which provides them with a steady income so they can support their families.
